It has been a fun ride Russia- your snowy slopes captured our attention for the past couple of weeks and I was in-love with your Chagal inspired portion of the closing games and your cheeky humor of the staging of the Olympic rings.
The closing ceremony day also inspired a Russian meal inspired for my folks. It was borscht, salad, gliese dumplings and sausage and praniks for dessert. Honestly, for all the Russian blood in my DNA, I have never eaten or made borscht. I am in-love. If you love beets, you will go head or heels for borscht. I am definitely adding this to the top of my soup lists.
I was also able to bind off my Ravellenic games shawl today as well- my first bigger garment project- I look forward to sharing more pictures of it this week. Right now it is nice and cozy on my shoulders as I type. Hope you enjoyed the olympics like we did.
