It is not pretty my friends, sometimes it is just plain ugly. Don't have too much to say right now except that I am grateful for the strength and love of my partner, the raw unconditional love for and from my boys and my family. Friends and family have been fantastic helping us out with childcare at times when we have never needed it before. Work has brought more stress into my life than ever before and it is just not pretty. Sorry for my absence from this space- I am so looking forward to September!
One thing I know, grateful also covers the feeling of what I have created in my home. Walking in the comfort of my space, my quirky 50's thrifted homespace is part of my mental health. It might be making some toys, knitting, making back to school monster fun for the boys or just walking barefoot in the back to the chicken coop. My family, crafting, and my home are my mental medicine right now. So I leave you with just two little beauties that I found in my back yard this weekend that remind me that all will be allright.
