So my dragons are still running around the house and getting their tails caught up in yarn so I thought I would give a brief update on the knitting. Well like a slow burning fire I am still going, really still just learning though and doing little squares and an occasional wee gnome hat.
But I am still really enjoying it, I seem to be a bit at this stuck place of my binding off and what to do with those end pieces, but am pretty confident that the fall will allow me more time to continue to grow. I continually love how mobile it is, it fits nicely in my bag most places and with making little critter blankets and pads it is just right for the making.
I checked this book out from the library and found a fun project that is on the gift list for the holidays. If you get to take a look at this one check out the Woodsy Washcloth!
A shawl maybe too optimistic for the winter for myself, but one can dream! Looks like there is a fun I Love Yarn day coming up that I may join in on too, how about you?
