We often enjoy finishing up our Herbal Roots learning for the month by exploring a little critter learning. It was one of the favorite things we enjoyed doing in the beginning when we discovered Herbal Roots a year ago and I am so happy to work with Kristine each month and giveaway a copy of the next month's Herbal Roots while you can have the chance to win a mamaroots wood toy at the Herbal Roots site.
This past weekend Silas had fun paging through the bird books while I sketched out a woodpecker to make- he cracked me up with his sweet "this one mama- it has a red head is it a woodpecker?" So we had just a little bird learning on the bench as we look forward to hearing this fine feathered friends peeking away at the trees!
