As you can tell we are incorporating more and more Waldorf celebrations into our home in our usual hybrid way! Tomorrow is St. Lucia Day and I think I will be needing some of that caffeine as I try and make some sweet bun dough tonight and deliver them to all my boys in bed in the morning- I knew I was holding onto that saffron for something special! Of course after reading about starboys and such associated with this holiday I think I will be making some sort of fun little wooden stars or candles tonight to deliver also tomorrow.
It reminds me of this book Lucia and the Light and of course my eternal love of the Dala Horse stories- I am pretty sure this is what our winter Sunday storytime will encompase tomorrow!
