The rainy weather was very timely for the next installment of the Once Upon A Table- Story Table project for you for May. Inspired by the poem "The Elf and the Dormouse" from my childhood book "The Golden Book of Poetry" this gives a fun little idea as to the invention of the umbrella! I adored this book when I was little and am so happy my mama saved it for me!

Speaking of wet, I am just starting to dabble with the wet on wet method of Waldorf Watercolor painting with the boys. We are awaiting a few more supplies, I splurged and ordered the Stockmar watercolors and am getting a beautiful cherry wood glass holder from fellow Etsian Birch Leaf Designs! The boys and I are so excited!
