This week on the bench finds a few new things in the works. First I have discovered a deep unknown love for having cut flowers in the house. I had gotten flowers for Silas' birthday instead of balloons this year and loved spreading them all over and just as they were beginning to fade my hubby brought me home some flowers this week! So hanging out on the cobbler's bench is:
1- flowers in our found old bottle from the back yard at The Womb Room
2- cut and sanded pieces of a downed tree from our woods to use at festivals but are building towers for the boys right now- still some of the best toys!
3- books that we have been reading about May Day!
My crafty friends and I have decided to be May Day fairies to each other this year and leave each other May Day baskets on Friday and the boys and I were reading up on the traditions of May Day last night. Don't forget to go out early that morning and wash your face in the May Day dew for an extra little fairy magic! Here are a couple fun spots to read up on May Day and baskets:

We also plan on breaking our the chiminea that night for our first bonfire "city living" style!
