We finished our first month of herbal fun thanks to Tansy at Luna Farms. We really enjoyed how this way put together- a little bit of medicinal, a little bit crafty, a little bit story, and a bunch of recipes to boot! I caught a cold/sore throat last Friday so the medicinal help from marshmallow was helpful this weekend!
I am also a bit of a procrastinator so we did not get to make the marshmallows until yesterday- but we enjoyed having a Saturday project to do and a good excuse to make hot chocolate!
Here are a couple pictures of our adventures yesterday- we had to grind the marshmallow root up in the blender as I could not find the marshmallow root powder- but it was a good excuse for loud noise and grindage!
Welcome March and the next Herbal Roots from Tansy- Chickweed. Check out that awesome critter she put on the cover! I am off to cut out some rabbits for the shop and some new ideas that I have for some birthday action- I will keep you guessing on that one!
